Frontera Produces Introduces New Transportation Group
EDINBURG, TEXAS -- February 14, 2007
(Edinburg, TX) –Frontera Produce, LTD begins the execution of their 2007 growth plan with the addition of a new transportation group. Realizing the need to reduce freight costs and develop a more efficient method of securing transportation, the company turned its focus to developing an in-house team dedicated to timely and reliable deliveries. To manage this program, Larry Stone and Dewayne Finn have joined the team bringing with them an extensive background in transportation and logistics. “Finding more efficient ways to reach our broadening customer base has been a major focus for Frontera over the last 12 months”, says Will Steele, Partner. “Managing these services internally seems to be the best strategy to ensure the service level we are committed to providing our customers. We are excited to have both Larry and Dewayne join our team and look forward to the growth their expertise will bring our organization.”
Recent years have seen tremendous growth for Frontera Produce. The company has been steadily expanding their product and service portfolio with the addition of an imports program in 2004, the acquisition of several growing partnerships in Central and South America, and significant resource allocation to the integration of RFID technology into their operations.
Celebrating their 15th year in business this year, Frontera Produce is headquartered in Edinburg, Texas. They have extensive growing operations throughout the United States as well as Mexico, Canada, Central and South America.
