EDINBURG -- October 22, 2008

FRONTERA PRODUCE EXPANDS LOGISTICS SERVICES
WITH FORMATION OF NEW COMPANY

EDINBURG, TX – (October 22, 2008) - Frontera Produce, LTD, a vertically integrated grower, packer and shipper of fresh produce in South Texas, announces the launch of a new company, Frontera Fresh Logistic LLC, created to provide added value and service to Frontera Produce’s customer base and to allow the company to build on it’s existing carrier relationships.

The new company aims to provide perishable full truckload and LTL service throughout the United States, as well as temperature controlled storage and forward distribution in strategically located areas.

“We couldn’t be happier about the formation of Frontera Fresh Logistics,” said Will Steele, president and chief executive officer of Frontera Produce. “The new company gives us the opportunity to build long term relationships with customers by providing competitive rates and on time delivery service to a broad range of markets in the Southwest and West. If we can help our customers save money while expanding our list of service offerings, it becomes a win-win scenario for everyone involved.”

With an extensive career in perishable commodity transportation and logistics, Mike Laws, has been hired as director of logistics tasked with overseeing all aspects of transportation including trucking, ocean, and contract warehousing. Laws brings a wealth of experience to Frontera Fresh Logistics and has held key positions with Universal Freight Forwarders, Hellmann Perishable Logistics, Gargiulo and Intermodal Express, Inc.

“It’s a great opportunity at the right time in my career,” said Laws. “I was particularly impressed with the existing logistics team and their work ethic. We feel our individual strengths will allow us to make an immediate impact for all of our customers.”

Steele and Laws will both be available in the Frontera Produce booth number 1913 at the PMA Fresh Summit Exposition in Orlando, Florida in the Texas Town area of the show floor.
