Frontera Hires Underwood to Bolster Tropical Sales
EDINBURG, TEXAS -- April 20, 2006
(Edinburgh, TX) - Frontera Produce, LTD announces Susan Underwood as the new Tropical Sales Coordinator for its growing Florida Division located in Boca Raton. Susan comes to Frontera Produce from Brooks Tropical where she was employed for the past seven years and most recently served as the Director of National Sales. In her new role, Susan will be instrumental in helping the Florida team build tropical sales through existing customers as well as establishing national sales for the entire company product mix.
Frontera Produce, LTD opened its Florida import office in the fall of 2004 and has since experienced steady growth. The company is currently importing mangos from Ecuador, Peru and Guatemala and is beginning the spring cycle of a significant off shore cantaloupe and honeydew program from Guatemala. “We are extremely pleased with the results of our Florida division to date”, said Will Steele, Vice President of Frontera Produce, LTD. “We are equally proud to have someone of Susan’s caliber join our organization”, he added.
