Beautiful and colorful, bell peppers have a sweet and refreshing flavor that perfectly their satisfying crunchy texture. With a very mild flavor, these peppers are great for cooking but can also be eaten raw as a healthy snack.
Bell peppers should be firm, smooth-skinned and have solid coloring. A chili pepper with “dry lines” is an edible, more mature pepper, and quite likely spicier than those peppers without the lines.
